Aru valley And Kolahoi Glacier

The trek to Kolahoi Glacier can be said as the trek of a lifetime. This valley glacier is respected by the locals as the “Goddess of Light '' for being the everlasting source of water that is the major source of rivers such as Jhelum and Lidder. Aru valley is almost 12 km from Pahalgam and 11 km upstream from the Lidder River. Lidder is a 73 kilometers long river. It originates from the Kolahoi Glacier and joins the Jhelum River at Mirgund Khanabal at an altitude of 1,615 meters. Aru valley is known for its scenic meadows, lakes, and mountains and it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake.

Betaab Valley

Betaab Valley got its name from a famous movie. Do you know what it's called? Betaab Valley is located about 15 kilometers from Pahalgam in the district of Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir. It got its name from the film, which was also shot here. It's known as Hagan Valley or Hagoon, but has since come to be known as Betaab Valley and is an incredibly popular tourist destination because of that movie. Visiting the valley offers plenty of sightseeing opportunities with its lush meadows, mountains, and dense vegetation. Baisaran Valley

Pahalgam is well connected to Jammu and Srinagar via a good network of roads. State bus services and private buses are available in Jammu, Srinagar, and Anantnag. Taxis are also available to reach Pahalgam.
